Global Security Intern

Base Operations is hiring Global Security Interns. In this role, candidates will play an integral role in expanding Base Operations' global presence. Interns will work with the Base Operations Engineering and Product teams to aggregate data inputs for our crime visualization platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Searching publicly available databases and government statistical websites for crime data
• Cleaning and manipulating datasets

REQUIREMENTS

• Studies in economics, computer science, data science, languages, or international relations
• Familiarity with excel
• Database management experience
• Self-starter and agile team-player

BONUS SKILLS

• Language skills - Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Mandarin
• Technology industry experience
